Getting started

Install Possessly from Google Play, then add your first asset from the Assets tab. See the User Guide for a full walkthrough.

Common topics

Local data and backups

Your records stay on your device. There is no account and no cloud sync in the current version. Create backups from Settings → Backup & Restore and save the file outside the app before changing phones or reinstalling.

Restoring a backup

Open Backup & Restore, choose restore, and select your `.possessly-backup.json` file. Restore replaces local data after confirmation — it is not a merge.

Exports

Export Data creates PDF, CSV, or JSON files on your device. Export history lists files the app has saved locally. Review exports before sharing — they may contain personal information.

Free limited version

The current production release is a free limited version. Paid or Pro features are not available in this release.

Uninstalling and data loss

Uninstalling the app or clearing app data may remove local records unless you saved a backup or export outside the app.

Google Play install or update issues

If you previously installed a debug or sideloaded build, Google Play may not update until you uninstall the old build. Create a backup first, then install from Google Play. See the User Guide troubleshooting section.
